Darrell is one of those people that when you meet him, you know you’re lucky to! He’s all around a friendly, genuinely kind person.
Which definitely comes in handy as a mortgage broker!
Since we did his last session over in Victoria (he lives on the island), we decided to do this one in North Vancouver, where he also spends a decent amount of his time. I wanted a location that would complement with his other photos, while still being standalone. Also with it being a very wet December day, we needed a spot that was good with rain cover – we weren’t in a position to reschedule.
This is why I LOVE the shipyards in North Vancouver. We did this entire session with SO much variety without going out from under cover once. It was perfect. Days like this are amazing for lighting and you don’t get as many people milling around in your shots either.
