Scott came to me last summer looking for some new headshots and branding photos as a lawyer in downtown Victoria. He wanted to be approachable yet professional and we decided to bring in the vibe of the downtown area to resonate with his potential clients.
I had a lot of fun getting to know Scott and like many branding photo sessions, we proved that you don’t need a stuffy plain background headshot to come across as professional in a more serious business such as law. We also did do some casual images for him to use personally. Something I always suggest if you’re out getting images done anyway!
With the rise of AI generated headshots, I do believe that while studio images have their place, including backgrounds in on-location images that are recognizable in your area or at least don’t look like they are generated, are incredibly important in creating trust and an authentic personal brand.
