How Hypnosis can help your personal brand (and business)

If you’ve never been hypnotized, it may seem like a bit of a woo-woo type phenomenon that the media portrays as forcing people to do things they don’t want to. 

But the reality is, it could be further from the truth. 

Hypnosis is a way of calming your conscious (the aware thinking) mind and tapping into your unconscious mind where all your beliefs are head, your automatic actions like breathing are managed and where your memories are stored. In fact, it’s estimated that over 95% of everything you do is operated by your unconscious mind. 

It’s a technique based on the science of how the brain works and interacts with the world around you, rather than energy based spiritualities modalities. Though, if you have an understanding of energetics, it makes the process more fun and effective.

And what does it feel like? Basically if you’ve ever zoned out watching tv, felt yourself “aware” but falling asleep or even hyper focused on a task, these are all forms of being in a hypnotic state – or trance. If you’ve ever been in the shower or going for a long drive and managed to have a good deep thought process – this is being in a state of hypnosis – which you may find is probably some of your best moments of ah-ha moments. 

How specifically hypnosis can help

Now how can that be used to improve your personal brand, and ultimately your business and life? By tapping into what your true aligned desires and thoughts are. It helps by understanding what drives your actions on the unconscious (95%) level instead of what you think you SHOULD be doing, or what others tell you. It helps you discover the reasons why you are doing things you don’t want to. Such as avoiding answering the phone. Instead, it improves the things you do want to: like building confidence or having trust in yourself. 

For some more relatable examples in how hypnosis can help your personal brand, here are just some of the specific ways you can use hypnosis to improve your personal brand:

  • Decreasing stress and anxiety
  • Understanding your habits so you can improve or change them
  • Helps find your place and purpose in the world
  • Knowing your true values that drive you so you can build a brand around it
  • Eliminating beliefs such as “I can’t make money” or “Everyone is better than me” 
  • Discovering events, even if they aren’t significant, that have shaped who you are and allow you to change what no longer serves you
  • Creates ultimate relaxation in a scattered brain 
  • Allows you to focus on aligned choices without the noise and chaos of what ifs 
  • Retrains your brain to look for positivity in situations and a more rounded, objective approach
  • Helps deal with repressed emotions of anger, sadness, hurt, fear, shame and frustration 
  • Untangles your past so you can move forward in your future 

There are a number of forms of hypnosis that practitioners like myself are trained in so you may find that every hypnotist you work with has a different approach. I love to use hypnosis as part of the personal branding process to help you create a business that fully aligns with what you want and attracts your soulmate clients. 

Particularly I use time lines, NLP, regression and visualization as my main hypnosis techniques. I use a lot of Kraser style hypnosis. I love learning all about different hypnosis techniques so I’m working on learning more conversational hypnosis as well. I am 2x board certified by the American Board of Hypnotherapy so you know you’re in good hands.
